2021-12-16 CLOUDS & COLOURS 🇵🇹 Went back and forward to Algarve today. One image is from #algarve the other two from #alentejo. All taken within an hour and from the car. Do you see the light difference? And the difference in the colour stick? It’s much greener in Algarve, in Alentejo we still enjoy mostly golden fields, even if the farmers longing for the rain. They will hopefully get what they wish for soon.

2021-12-08 FLOWERING IN DECEMBERThis lovely succulent “Pig’s ear”is flowering right now and both bees and birds love them. And I do to.

2021-12-05 VERANDA FOR SUNSETSFinally the veranda is clean again. Pallets with tiles are gone and we can enjoy the view of our garden and sunsets again.

2021-12-03 OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD 🇵🇹 Close to the village. Neighbours not too close. Rolling hills. Countryside. Cork oaks. Olive trees. Views. Yes we like our house and home. You can see the gable of our small house.

2021-11-28 GLAD FÖRSTA ADVENT! Nu är det jul i vårt hus. När mörkret faller i eftermiddag blir det en glutenfri adventsfika.

2021-11-26 CHRISTMAS CANDY 🍬 This year’s Christmas candy is done! Made almond mass (almonds and icing sugar) with a taste of lemon and then rolled balls in melted chocolate. Not need to be more fancy than this. Easy and delicious is the best way in my opinion. What’s your favourite treats for Christmas?

2021-11-25 OUR HOME 🇵🇹The little white house in the middle of the image is our home. We have a comfortable small house in these lovely surroundings in #alentejo. Have a 3800 sqm garden where we grow veggies.

2021-11-23 LISBON 🇵🇹I think this one is my favourite image from our #visitlisbon. Hills and colourful houses. Sunsets and views. And much more. Lisbon has so much to offer and we will most definitely go back.

2021-11-20 I LOVE TILES / ADORO AZULEJOS 🇵🇹 This building is so beautiful! Marble and tiles in a lovely mix. In todays blogpost (link in bio) there is a lot of images of tiles from our Lisbon trip.

2021-11-15 TIME FOR CANDLES Love candles and even if we now live in a much brighter country we also have dark mornings and evenings. So yesterday I took out my candelabra from the wardrobe, where it’s hidden when not in use. And this morning when I woke up early I gladly went out of bed in the dark because I knew I could enjoy one hour or so in the candle light. One of many hours to come.

2021-11-14 FUNICULAR IN LISBON 🇵🇹Going through my photos from our visit to #lisboa and want to show you this kind of tram. A funicular that can take you up the steep hills. We walked and if you swipe you’ll see the hill from a way up (where I gladly stopped to take a breath and a photo) 😅

2021-11-10 LISBON BY NIGHT 🇵🇹 Not often we are out walking in the dark. But in a city with a lot of lights and a wide selection of restaurants where even I can find food to eat we gladly do. This is the roof of the pink street :)

2021-11-09 LISBOA 🇵🇹Spending a couple of days in #lisbon for our yearly work conference and of course a lot of exploring. Got upgraded to a bigger room, for the first time ever. 💃 Hopefully I will collect a lot of content for blogposts during these days and I will certainly tell you all about the hotel! While we are here we have workers on our property – already excited to see the changes when we come home.

2021-11-01 VISITORS 🚍🇵🇹We have had friends with motorhomes visiting us. 1. Last weekend (image) lovely weather, we were outside until sunset. They chased flies 🪰 inside their motorhome before bedtime. (Due to a shitload of manure in our garden)2. This weekend, rainy so after a tour around our property we ate and played games inside. They chased mosquitoes 🦟 all night inside their motorhome.So we think we really succeeded to give our guests memories when visiting us :)

2021-10-29 HIBISCUS 🌺 Happy! Its suppose to rain all weekend so I bring the sun and this lovely flower to my feed. Grateful for the time I can enjoy it’s flowering.

2021-10-26 ESTREMOZ 🇵🇹 Another photo from our visit to #estremoz the other day. It’s a lot of wine production in the area and the fields of grapes 🍇 are close to the city. This is a view when going up to the castle. We got served Dom Martinho 2018 to the lunch and we will surely drink that again! More images on the blog.

2021-10-23 ESTREMOZ 🇵🇹Had an amazing day with friends living in #estremoz A lovely town with a lot of history, many roads with cobblestone, antique market on Saturdays and a castle with breathtaking views. And a lot more.

2021-10-18 BEST SOUND IN THE GARDENI have a carob tree with a lot of flowers and the bees love them. There are probably more than thousand bees in the tree right now. I will plant a male tree so we can get the carob pods. But for now I am very happy this tree only feed the bees! Sound on!

2021-10-16 THESE VIEWS ARE HOME FOR MEWhen we are leaving our region #alentejo it’s always feel comforting to come back home to these views. When passing the mountain that separate us from #algarve I breathe slower when the landscape open up again.

2021-10-11 DELICIOUS LUNCHWith an abundance of aubergine from the garden I try different recipes to vary our meals. This was very tasty, served with green salad.

2021-10-08 S I N E S 🇵🇹Went hunting for plants today and took a detour to pass the ocean. Can’t get enough of the lovely western coastline.
